Students win the hearts of parents with outstanding display of talents

Lucknow,  City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus III  organized its Open Day in a grand fashion at the campus premises. The event hosted art and craft exhibits on one hand and music and dances on the other. Students showcased their karate skills, prepared pottery from clay and indulged in cooperative games. They also spread messages on environmental protection  through their science projects. Parent's participating in the event added to the fun element of the programme. The Open Day Celebrations commenced with the All Religion and World Peace Prayers. Children spoke on the teachings of different religions and explained how all
religions follow different paths to reach one God. Tiny-tots of the school, eager to win  hearts of the audiencepresented various cultural items. Mrs Jayashree Krishnan, Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar (Campus III) stated that the main aim behind organizing this 'Open Day Ceremony'  is to bring out hidden talents of students. Such celebrations make value-based learning effective and interesting. She further said that education imparted with values is the need of the hour.
Mrs Krishnan briefed about the achievements of the campus in the year and thanked the parents for their support. Each child is the gift of God and we strive to make each child a light of society, she added. Founder of CMS and educationist, Dr Jagdish  Gandhi, heartily congratulated the students and teachers of the school and extended his gratitude to guests and parents.
